Limited Edition Barrel Aged Vermont Maple Syrup

Grade A maple syrup from Butternut Mountain Farms in Northern Vermont was put in a barrel that just contained Heaven Hill Bourbon and Madagascar vanilla beans for 3 - 5 months to make my Signature Bourbon vanilla extract.


At the end of 1 - 2 months, the syrup is drained and bottled into 8oz ball jars. You will be able to smell the bourbon as soon as you open the jar as well as see the vanilla bean seeds. The combination of the bourbon and vanilla meld perfectly with the high quality robust taste of the syrup.

​Limited Edition Bourbon Vanilla Sugar


Organic fair trade cane sugar was mixed with Madagascar vanilla beans that had been in a barrel with bourbon for 3 months to make my Signature bourbon vanilla extract.


The beans were taken out of the barrel, split and scraped to mix with the sugar in a closed container for 1 month. At the end of the month, the sugar (along with remaining beans) was bottled in ball jars.


Please use this sugar as you would any high quality sugar product. Use in baking, specialty desserts or to liven up your hot beverages.

1.Heaven Hill bourbon, Grade B Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans and Crescent Moon Sumatran coffee beans.

Extract was started in the toasted oak barrel from Artisan Barrel Company on April 4, 2017. Finished extract was bottled on July 4, 2017 with a fresh Grade A Madagascar bourbon vanilla bean. This batch of extract has a very distinct coffee flavor due to the freshly roasted coffee beans that were used! SOLD OUT!


2.Heaven Hill Bourbon, Grade B Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans.

Extract was started in a toasted oak barrel from Artisan Barrel Company on July 12, 2017. Finished extract was bottled on October 30, 2017 with a split Grade A Madagascar bourbon vanilla bean.


3.Heaven Hill Bourbon, Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks

Extract was started in a toasted oak barrel from Artisan Barrel Company on August 1, 2017. Finished extract was bottled on November 27, 2017 with half of a fresh cinnamon stick.


4.Heaven Hill Bourbon, Organic Cacao Nibs.

Extract was started in a toasted oak barrel from Artisan Barrel Company on July 31, 2017. Finished extract was bottled on November 28, 2017 with 1 tablespoon of fresh Cacao Nibs.


5. Heaven Hill Bourbon, maple syrup. Extract was started in a toasted oak barrel from Artisan Barrel Company on December 5, 2017 that previously aged both our signature bourbon vanilla extract and also aged our vanilla maple syrup.  Finished extract was bottled on May 3, 2018 with some additional of maple syrup. I let this one sit a little longer because I really wanted that hint of vanilla to come through with the maple.


As you use your extracts (generally 1-2 teaspoons for a recipe), feel free to add more bourbon.
